PPI

Overview

Pinnacle Processes Inc. (PPI) is a collective of specialized manufacturing brands serving heavy industry, power, municipal, mining, and global EPC clients. With over one billion dollars in installed systems and decades of engineering expertise, PPI had the credibility of a market leader but lacked a unified brand that clearly communicated its technical strength and the relationship between its sub-brands.

My engagement began by refining PPI’s brand strategy, defining who PPI is, the value it delivers, and why customers rely on its engineered-to-order components and deep process-system expertise. The strategy positioned PPI as a trusted technical advisor that provides reliability, system optimization, and long-term value.

This clarity guided the development of a new PPI identity: a custom geometric logo system, a modern and functional color palette, and a clean, engineering-driven typographic structure, all designed to express the precision and rigor of the industry.

Building a Family of Brands

Once the parent brand was established, the next phase focused on redesigning General Rubber (GRC) and Effox Flextor Mader (EFM). The goal was to modernize each legacy brand while creating clearer alignment with the new PPI identity.

Both GRC and EFM were refreshed to maintain their heritage and market recognition, but re-engineered to fit within a unified visual architecture. This created a true family of brands, distinct where necessary, connected where it matters, and collectively stronger under the PPI umbrella.
